  • Hayashi is the kind of place that, under the right management/ownership, would be a great place. Unfortunately this is not the case with this establisment. You walk into a dimly lit waiting area and see an empty restaurant. Ive been here three times because I wanted so badly to like this place. Each time however, there was never anyone to greet us, the food was terrible, and nothing has been done as far as maintenance goes. The only positives here are the friendly waiting staff and the calamari. The seats are often torn and the table tops are losing their finish. It is just a worn down place, which is weird considering its not that old. I expected more. I gave them a few chances. Im not impressed at all. Im not going back.
