  • This Sprouts location is alright...not amazing but not the worst I have been to. The staff is somewhat friendly, tons of people working on the floor, never enough cashiers. Today I went in around 1pm to grab a few groceries. By the time I went to check out, there were three cashiers and one was shutting down, possibly a break or bathroom run? The lines were about 5 people deep at the two open registers. I stood in line and after I put my items on the belt, the cashier put his closed sign up...now only one cashier open. What the heck? Another customer came up and asked him if he was really closed and he mumbled that he had to use the restroom but after the customer said he only had four items, the cashier let him put his items on the belt. That one cashier's line was all of the sudden about 10 people deep. No joke. Finally someone else came up...the one from the possible break/bathroom run and didn't seem the least bit concerned with customer service. I finished checking out and walked out my car. As I was putting my groceries into the car, my cashier ran out of the store and into Bookmans next door. So weird. I guess it's easier to use the bathroom that's not in your own building? Anyway, other than my checkout experience, the only other less than 5-star experience I had on my trip today was at the meat department. The guy who helped me didn't put on gloves when getting my product out of the case, instead using a paper to pick it up. This was after he barehanded the cut veggies that were on top of the product to move them out of the way. Guaranteed he didn't wash his hands before going back to the task he was originally working on. Overall, I can usually find what I am looking for. Some products are overpriced but I have noticed a better selection recently and better prices on certain items. Produce is a crapshoot...it's cheap but somewhat poor quality, and that's only if they have what you are looking for. I have had more than one occasion where they didn't have what I needed and I had to go across the street to Albertson's.
