DISAPPOINTING!!! Lengthy review but worth the read trust me. I had signed for EOS at the Durango office and was won over by the affordable no contract price and its amenities that so called come with membership. I bought membership without checking out this location first as I live on Durango and am awaiting the new location to open in February. So I began coming all the way to this location in the meantime. I was not impressed from the moment I walked thru the door. Compared to LVAC and 24 Hour Fitness, this gym just came off as ghetto and old. Equipment looks outdated, lighting in here in just odd and dull, there's just no WOW factor that I had hoped for. The workers here are also the rudest workers I have come across! My first time I came here I didn't feel welcomed. The next time I came the lady at check in rudely asked if I had brought my towel. What towel? I had no idea I was supposed to bring my own and you didn't ask the last time. "It's written on the contract and says right here. *Points to sign on counter. If you don't have one you have to buy one or I can't let you in." ...uhm okay just charge the stupid dollar to my account then. I like to box and one of the reasons I chose EOS over other gyms is because I was told there is a cage and punching bags for members to use. I ask if I can go into the cage and am turned down as I find out it can only be used during an MMA class with an instructor. WHAT?! The guy who signed me up did not inform me of that. How pointless to not have it opened for free use. I also like to use a speed jump rope for cardio which I was doing in the group exercise room for a few days. One day I go and it's locked so I asked if they could open it. Another rude worker told me I can't go in there without an instructor either and that's its policy. UHM OKAY THEN WHY HAS IT BEEN OPEN EVERY OTHER DAY & WHY HAVE I BEEN ABLE TO USE IT THUS FAR?! Seriously so annoyed by this gym. I really hope the Durango location is a lot better or I will definitely be switching gyms.
