  • Just before hitting a concert in the Corona theatre, my friend and I decided to spike our blood alcohol content level just a bit. It didn't take long until we found Burgundy Lion as it is right next to the venue. We were there only for the drinks so our destination was the bar counter upstairs which was rather small but our bartender was marvelous. She kept a charming smile throughout our stay and was very knowledgeable. Our drinks were boozy and carefully crafted. My only disappointment was that my Negroni had this distinct taste that I recognize from dated sweet vermouth. Nonetheless, everything else was a perfect preparation for the concert.
