I have been dining here for nearly 5 years now and this place has never failed me nor do I think it ever will. This place harbors such a broad range of memories for me: from experiencing my first all-you-can-eat-sushi to my Aussie cousin & me pretending we're on The Amazing Race forced to eat everything on our plates in order to get our next clue (WOOP WOOP to fellow TAR fans!!!! You KNOW what's up!!!) to my tragic break-up with my Marine to screaming profanities with a former Bestie over sake bombs. I know Yama will keep the great sushi and the great memories coming.
The service is to be matched. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating and must be vampires because I get my orders so quickly. I love ordering the seafood salad, sushi: albacore, yellowtail and smoked salmon; and practically every single roll. Then for dessert, no matter how STUFFED I am I ALWAYS get mochi. Check out my tip.
The only downside is the place is very small and cramped. If you can tolerate not only gazing into your dining companion's eyes but the table to your left and maybe even your right's eyes then by all means hypnotize them all with your "smize"! & test your listening and concentration skills because it'll be tempting to listen in on the convos of other tables while looking intrigued with your dining companion's squawking.
