If you're a lover and a connoisseur of fine literature, perhaps you'll find more at Words Worth Books than I have. But, if you're just a run-of-the-mill bookworm, like I am, go on in for a visit if you're walking by, but I wouldn't go out of your way to head on down.
I happened to be on my way back from the Taste of Calgary and saw that the door to Words Worth was open. Delightful! I've passed by many a time meaning to stop in. What I walked into were rows upon rows of books, as one would expect to find in a bookstore. Books are arranged by category and then by author. There certainly is a large selection.
What I wasn't so fond of were the boxes of books lined up along the floor, or a few on top of each other in the odd corner. One box sitting a bit higher from the ground was marked "duplicates". Okay, understandable you'd have doubles, but isn't there a better system for storing them?
At any rate, I picked up a copy of For Whom The Bells Tolls. Would you believe I've never read it? The book was an old hardcover and selling for $9.50.... but for some reason all books are 10% off. Works for me!
