  • Both my wife and I attended the CCW class this past weekend. While my wife was very skeptical about even taking this class when she walked out with her certificate she was very happy that she did. While the class consists of mostly classroom work, instructors Alex and Steven were extremely knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the required information. Not only did they present the information in a manner easy to understand, they did so with humor and most importantly relating the info to real life experiences to help us better understand it. When it came time for the written test, both my wife and I were more then prepared and both scored well. At the range, Steven made everyone feel comfortable while shooting and spent time with those who needed help. The class is free and there are NO pushy gimmicks. The only money you will spend is if you would like to apply for the Utah and/or Florida CCW applications as well. I was amazed at how much I learned in the span of a few hours and how quickly the class went by. We got a break every 45 minutes to an hour and had a 1 hour lunch break as well. If I had to take this class again I would go to Range 702 without question. Once they are moved into the new location, I will certainly be checking out the various classes they offer, especially the nite time tactical class. And given the patience that was displayed by both Alex and Steven, I have already talked to them about training for my kids. If you are looking around at different gin shops in town, you have plenty of options. There is no no doubt in my mind that Range 702 is one of the best in town and I would HIGHLY recommend their CCW class. I am glad I choose them to get my CCW certification and look forward to taking some of the other classes they offer in the future! Ed
