  • I went to Aroma for the first time today. I was 15 minutes late (hate downtown parking!) but the girl at the desk welcomed me and had me fill out a new client intake form. The girl who waxed me (Karla) seemed a bit stand offish at first but she warmed up through some conversation in the waxing room. The room itself is bright and clean. I used Nufree since I have been told it will help with ingrowns and is less painful than regular wax. I found Karla's service to be quick and relatively painless for a brazilian wax. All in all I was in the waxing room for about 20 minutes and that included undress/dressing. She gave me a little bottle of finipil- which I was grateful for. My only negative comment would be that after I got home and took a shower to rid myself of the wax residue/baby powder, was that I saw there were several hairs that were missed. I hate paying + tipping for a service only to find that it wasn't done as good as it could have. With the bright lights in the room I didn't know why so many were overlooked. If there is a next time, I will have to be sure to check myself before I leave.
