  • I was not particularly impressed with this escape room. We (9 of us) played Escape From the Tower. While the setting and props were really great (it's in freakin' Casa Loma!), I found that the puzzles weren't particularly challenging. There are actors present to help you along, but they ended up being too 'hinty'; they basically didn't let you fail a part of it to try again. I felt as if they were pushing along a little too quickly. Apparently you have sixty minutes to complete youre escape, but without any timers present, who knows what it really worked out to be. I can't see any groups actually 'losing' this game, unless they were REALLY clueless. I love escape rooms, but definitely won't be back to Casa Loma to play the other ones; I'll visit a different, more challenging location, next time.
