  • Recently, I celebrated my birthday in Vegas with family and friends. I elected to totally change my atmosphere and location this year. I opted to stay at an end of the Strip I rarely visit, BOY am I GLAD I did. I choose The Mirage for my 3 night stay. The Mirage is grandly located directly next door to Caesar's Palace to the right and Treasure Island to the left. Directly across the street is Harrah's and the Flamingo. This end of the Strip is vibrant and full of activity. There are tons and tons of people walking about and enjoying the sights and scenery. The Mirage is beautifully decorated with tons of flora and fauna. It smells divine for a casino. If you're accustomed the the smoke filled smell of most casinos, you'll be amazed at the FRESHNESS of The Mirage. You can tell great care and consideration goes into maintaining a less smoke filled environment. The staff here are amazing. The front desk, the concierge, housekeeping, dealers- hospitality is their job 1. You can walk out of the Strip entrance to LVBoulevard and be greeted by a myriad of things to do. You can walk left or right and within 3 mins be at your next fun destination. Be it shopping, dining, gambling, sightseeing, or just people watching this hotel and end of the Strip are full of excitement. I've been visiting Vegas for 14 years and I could kick myself for not making this decision sooner. The rooms are large, fairly modern, and extremely clean. I found one issue upon check in and it was immediately rectified. The hotel boasts a bevy of restaurants for your dining pleasure. It's the home of the popular 1Oak nightclub and an outside patio bar area that hosts a DJ on the weekends. I was extremely satisfied with my stay here. It renewed the Vegas appeal for me. I look forward to my next stay. It's the home of The Beatles Cirque De Soleil. Imagine(pun intended) The Mirage for your next adventure
