| - My second time here, and I am still beyond impressed with this jeweler. I made an appointment with Dave for an appraisal on a ring set, and to look at their selection of men's silver bracelets. Dave has more than 30 years' experience in the jewelry industry, and is one of the most honest people I've ever met. Each appointment is a very personal experience, and never an uncomfortable or pushy moment. I never feel like I am getting a sales pitch like at other jewelry stores. It is by appointment only, which makes the experience that much more personal and unique.
I was looking for a special present for my fiance. Since he does not wear much jewelry other than an occasional bracelet, I thought I would see what Dave had in stock and if he had any ideas for a custom piece. What I like about Dave is he asks you what you are specifically looking for, and wants to make sure you are happy with the merchandise.
Their showroom is small, intimate and contains an impressive selection of jewelry. If you want something different, these guys can create it, too. I showed Dave a photo of the bracelet my fiance likes to wear, so that he could get an idea of the style I had in mind. Dave showed me two very attractive, masculine-looking bracelets in his case that were from Italy, by the brand Alisa (see my photo). Stunning! The bracelets were unique, beautiful workmanship, and adjustable for any wrist. He also showed me a few different bracelets on his plasma screen that he could special order. It was a tough decision, and I finally went with a braided leather and silver bracelet that will be engraved with a special message. I placed my order and it will be ready in just a few days.
Fine jewelry is a special purchase, and it is nice to have a reputable go-to person in Vegas who you can trust. Dave is so friendly and patient, and quite an interesting person. I am so happy with my purchase today and I can't wait to see the bracelet when it arrives. Don't waste your time with the big chain jewelry stores...save your sanity and go to D&R!
