rev:text	Dr. Leduc, the surgical scheduling gals Hakima and Danita, and the front desk staff are amazing! My patient advocate was absolutely horrendous. I had a brief opportunity to work with Jaime, the other advocate for this office, she was super quick and gave me updates so I could move forward. Now, I was having a band revision into a sleeve so I've been through this process before; by far, Perla is the most inconsistent, lazy, rude individual I have ever met in my 34 years of life. I feel like I'm being super light in that description, she was awful; I felt like I was talking to a brick wall a lot of the time and she moved as slow as molasses. She would frequently say "I called you but no answer" when she never called or left a voicemail; funny that EVERYONE else in that office could call me and get me on the phone but somehow she couldn't. If you are coming here, please ask for the other patient advocate because she only advocates for herself. ANYWAY, Dr. Leduc is my hero! We almost didn't get to do the sleeve right after he took my band out because the placement of the band left a callous and made it weird and awkward to cut the stomach; he and Dr. Soong performed magic and got it done!! I could not be happier with my results 2.5 months post-op. Previous to this recent surgery, I had a slip with my band about 2 years ago that Dr. Atkinson helped me with; super thorough and informative, great bedside manner with all the doctors at this practice. Dietician Michelle is also super friendly, relatable and made me feel welcome. I didn't feel like I was being judged which was super important to me. Dr. Michael (I forgot his last name) is also very thorough and answered all my questions before leaving the hospital. BOTTOMLINE: I absolutely recommend any of these doctors to perform sleeve surgery! This center has a great network going for support and/or questions. If you can avoid Perla as your patient advocate, you will be so satisfied. If you happen to get her and she continues to be a lazy goat, speak up. It should not take 6-7 days to call you back to check the status of your case....this isn't rocket science.
