Came here for the performance of Amadeus.
I was expecting a much smaller theater, but I was super surprised to see that this place fits about 100 people easy.
For this particular play, the sets and costumes were great! I wasn't sure what to expect with a period piece and the size of this production, but it was amazing. The environment they created was completely believable, and the lighting was so beautiful.
The actors were fantastic. This was a long play (almost 3 hours we were there), and the stamina of the acting in some of the long monologues was truly remarkable. There was a hiccup with the sound equipment during a very important piano scene, and the actors played it off like it was nothing. You wouldn't even have known! Well done!
My only complaint about this place was the lack of air conditioning. It became so hot during the first act that a lot of the audience were fanning themselves with playbills. It created a very very distracting environment and people became very restless and tired because of it. I saw someone go over and check the thermostat a couple times, but nothing really seemed to change. I can only imagine how the poor actors were feeling under the lights.
If you do go here, do not dress on the warmer side.
