rev:text	*YELP 100 CHALLENGE 99/100* The idea of an ice rink overlooking the fascinating lights of the Las Vegas Strip sounds very enchanting, but to me the lack of space is quite overwhelming. If you don't mind skating around with tons of people with not much personal space then I would say go for it, as for me, I'll stick to the sidelines and be an amused spectator of bodies falling left and right. Lol really, this is some peoples idea of fun? That's only the bitter person in me coming out, now that I don't have the energy to embarrass myself in public hahaha. Nevertheless, it's fun to watch kids and adults enjoying themselves and let me tell you some of these folks are really talented and have skills! The Ice Rink runs from November 21 thru January 3, M-F from 3 to midnight and Sat-Sun 3 to midnight and with Holiday hours from December 21 thru January 3, 12 noon to midnight daily. An all day pass will cost you $15 and locals get $5 off. Skate rentals are $5. On Mondays they have Skate Date's in which they show different movies on their 65 inch screen. Wednesdays are Industry nights where they have a live DJ and the rink basically turns into an outdoor club scene. Thursdays are for Throwbacks where you can wear your favorite leg warmers and cutesy little outfits and they play popular tunes from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Oh and they also have snow showers from 6-10 pm which is a cool add on. Food and delicious cocktails are being sold to round off your experience and there are several fire pits to keep you toasty. Even if skating is not really your thing, it's a good little outing to take your family to for some holiday fun. Only time will tell if I'll ever set foot on Cosmo's ice rink, maybe I'll have to go to one of our local ice rinks to practice, if I can get over my irrational fear of someone running over and slicing my fingers if I fall, that is eeeekkks :\|
