| - Brought to you by the team that gave you awesome Delux burgers and so-so Zen32 sushi. Revo falls more on the so-so side. The inside is clean, colorful, and trendy but in a good way. The restaurant is relatively small. There are about half a dozen tables inside, 4 or 5 outside with a pickup window for easy access.
The menu is small and to the point. Think of Chipotle but fresher. Tacos, burritos, and burrito bowls filled with chicken, carne asada, shredded beef, etc. I had the carne asada burrito. It was about 2/3's the size of Chipotle and came with half a dozen colored chips and a shot size cup of salsa for about 9 bucks with a tip. The burro was filled with carne, onions, and guac. There was plenty of guac and onions but a little shy on the carne. The meat was flavorful and the entire entree tasted fresh. The hot salsa had a decent kick to it and also tasted fresh. The waitress brought me another shot of salsa upon request. The tortilla was ok but not anywhere near as thin or delicious as Carolinas as I read in a previous review. After finishing I felt just right. No longer hungry but far from full.
To sum it up, Revo isn't revolutionizing anything. It's pretty much what you would expect "Mexican" food to be like made by the guys that brought you Delux and Zen. Basically if Filiberto married Chipotle and cleaned up his act big time you would then have Revo as an offspring. Fili b's without the fear and flies times twice the price if you will.
