  • Disappointing. Every year I look forward to the Christmas trees coming to the parking lot. This year was especially exciting as we have our 1.5yr old son and 5 month old son with us to pick the tree. I was looking forward to seeing our son run through the lot, and help pick out the tree. When we got there he was scared at first but eventually warmed up to the tall trees. We found one we thought would be perfect for us. We asked him if he liked it and he said "yeah". He doesn't talk yet so this was so cute to hear. We put our name on it with the help of the assistant and went inside to pay for the tree. When we came back we were informed that they had given our tree to someone else. If you've traveled with toddlers before, you know that by this time we've hit our time limit at this location. We were now forced to pick a tree with antsy children who just needed to get home. We picked one of the first that we saw, waited again to get it cut and packaged up and put on our car. We were offered "tree-food" in compensation for the lost tree, but this would require waiting in line, inside, again. We passed. We were sorely disappointed in the care that was put into ensuring that the right family gets the right tree. Unfortunately the tree we picked has now lost almost all its pine needles on the lower half and looks like it had gone without water prior to us even purchasing it. I doubt it will last until Christmas. A waste of $60+, and a disappointing experience.
