| - I don't even know where to start with these apartments. From the beginning of our 12 month lease, this place was trouble. Tiny spiders were all over our apartment. We called and asked for our apartment to be sprayed. I had to give my daughter a bath in the master bath every time she took one, because of the way her shower was positioned too close to the toilet, it was impossible to even sit in there, so her shower was never used. The master showers cocking was done horrible, resulting in mold. That I bleached & cleaned, twice. After 3 weeks of calling, it was finally recocked. But that didn't help because the mold eventually came back. Bleaching does nothing & you aren't on the priority list.
I noticed that every time I did laundry, the laundry room would become soaked. The floor would be filled with water. At the same time reporting this, our heater also wasn't working during winter. I had a 10 month old & it wasn't considered an "emergency." So when they came the next day to fix the heater, they looked at our dryer and the hose that was supposed to be connected to the back of the dryer, wasn't.
The knob that you twist, to turn the shower on & off, became lose, and that caused our shower to not turn all the way off. So we constantly had water dripping out of the faucet. That took almost a month for them to fix. & In the end, it happened a total of 3 times.
The light in the second room & master room, both went out.
Our balcony door broke twice. It was too hard to pull, so that was replaced twice.
Our front door locked from the inside once, my boyfriend went to work that morning & left through the balcony. I had to stay home & wait for someone to come & fix the front door. We never slammed it or understood why it wouldn't open. But I had errands to run that day with my daughter & again, it doesn't matter. You're on their time.
Management was changed 3 different times in a total of 12 months. Every time you went into the office, you saw new faces.
The pool was closed almost the whole time we lived there.
In the beginning you could pay rent with a money order, personal check, or cashiers check. There came a time almost 4 months into our lease, we got a letter on our door saying we had to re-pay half our rent. Our rent was over $1000 so we always has to pay with two money orders. Apparently, the first money order went through. But the second one didn't. I wasn't the only person furious by this, I went into the office to complain & I ended up walking out crying because they told us it had "bounced." How does a money order bounce?! Two people approached me walking out complaining of the same thing. One man had to repay his WHOLE rent, plus that months rent.
This resulted in money orders no longer being accepted. When I think someone in the office just cashed the money orders & was stealing money.
We moved out almost two weeks ago, went in & paid our last months utilities & we were told we could get our deposit of $200 back. I just got a letter in the mail saying we actually owed them another $111
Our precious months utilities is on there. But we just paid that 10 days ago?...So now I'm being told to call back in 3 days to handle it because the lady is currently not there.
Also, our rent was $915 but we ended up paying $1010 every month almost. Utilities would run $80 which is insane. I've never paid more than $50 for utilities. Nothing ever made sense so we ignored it, just to ignore issues & even bigger problems. I could not wait to write this review. I hated it here. This place was not "home."
These apartments are not worth it.
Not the time, frustration, money, or tears. Do not move here unless you have time to be wasted or money to be stolen. I hated it here from the beginning & counted down the days til we could move out. Even after moving out they still find ways to screw you over.
