No, I'm not getting married.
A good friend of mine is this year and I'm doing what good bridesmaids do by helping her find that breathtaking gown.
Windsor Bridal calls themselves Toronto's Bridal Superstore.
And it is.
But don't mistaken superstore for super service.
In each of the bridal boutiques we visited prior to Windsor Bridal, the sales associates were happy and friendly, making the search for "the gown" a fun and exciting experience. The associates in Windsor Bridal made the wedding gown hunt feel more like a boring chore. Hmmmmm... maybe it's because the staff aren't married yet? Or maybe it's because they already are?
I've been here a couple of times before and the service was also mediocre.
Windsor Bridal is Toronto's Bridal Superstore because of it's size and their extensive selection. But how can you find your one and only when there's hundreds and hundreds of gowns to choose from and there's a limit on how many you can try on?
No appointment is necessary anymore, but I recommend avoiding the weekends unless you plan on staying the full day. A Monday afternoon worked fabulously for us - empty fittings rooms, unoccupied seats, available staff. At least we were instantaneously attended to even if the experience itself was nothing to root about.
