| - Alright alright alright. I mean that in every Matthew McConaughey way possible. This place is solid as a an AYCE sushi place can get.
We were seated in about 40 minutes on a Friday night. The hostess had told us an hour and took our number, I was very pleasantly surprised at the convenience of the online system in which you can see where you are in line. Every restaurant in the world should have this system. We were seventh in line, then fifth, and then a text "Are you coming? If so press 2" etc.
The rolls here are sub par. They aren't bad. They aren't good. Nothing I ordered really "popped". They were good, but they didn't leave me flabbergasted and fascinated like Yama Sushi's 'No Name' roll or Kaya Sushi's 'Cinderella' or 'XXX3' roll does. While eating a roll all I could think was "I need to order more nigiri." Why? Their Sushi Nigiri is by far the best in town that I have had.
Salmon Belly, Salmon Collar, even plain ole' happy Tuna and Yellowtail were all phenomenal. Melt in your mouth. Oh lord the unagi made me want to order all of it they had in the building. The rice was perfectly made, even a Japanese chef would cry at its delicious chewy and sticky quality I imagine. Their sushi rice is the best I've had in Las Vegas. If you come here, come as a fan of nigir. If you come here as a fan of rolls and rolls only you are going to be disappointed.
My girlfriend is one of those people , she gives this place a strong 2 1/2 stars.
The servers were friendly, we had no issues with service. The 26 bucks a person for dinner was definitely worth it and we'll be back!
TL:DR: Go for Nigiri, not for rolls. Order Salmon Belly and Pork Belly.
