  • So I called Summit Roofing because he was recommended by a friend who actually does roofing??? My friend is a general contractor and told me to call Summit directly because they are honest and fair priced. Man, he wasn't kidding- first off I was told I needed to replace these metal things on roof, and they did not need to be replaced at all. Also, the area might need some flat wood and it was added into my other estimates as a for sure cost. Summit had it in their bill as an extra, only if after tear off of the section if the new wood is needed. You get what you pay for, so I'm not going to just choose the lowest price ...but I will pick the most honest company. Roof is now done, before and after pictures of the roof were emailed to me after competition for my records. The owner spoke to me personally throughout the process and although I'm sure he's a busy guy, never made me feel like an imposition.
