  • Ok, so we were really looking forward to this buffet, there was 10 of us. Since we had more than 8 people, we were forced to pay an 18% gratuity up front, and since this buffet is $55 for each person, that meant a $10 per person tip up front. Keep in mind, this is a buffet, and a good one, but all the server needed to do was to fill our drinks and clear the table...not a server in sight! We asked for a manager and suddenly the server is now free enough to help us. Look, I don't mind paying an up front gratuity, but I better get service in accordance to that mandatory tip! This was NOT the case until I complained. My overall recommendation, save your money and go to a cheaper buffet where they appreciate your business.
