| - My experience at Mint was kind of a unique one. I'm fairly new to the area and have been all about trying new places. I came across Mint, thought their website was adorable, loved their values and decided to give them a try.
I had booked the "express" mani/pedi. When I got in I was seated right away. Off the bat I wasn't too happy because I realized my feet were not going to get soaked in one of their adorable little tubs (this was 100% my fault as the express is fast and doesn't include that). Secondly, as I'm picking out polish (I always do gel for my mani's) I kept getting told that the gel, being vegan, would most likely last me a week. A WEEK?! "Are you kidding me??" I thought, I could have just done my own. However, I smiled and just sat through it. After all, the saying does say "you get what you pay for".
The mani/pedi combo took forever. I wasn't in any hurry, but thought I should have just paid the extra money for a foot soak. However, everyone as super friendly and it made me feel like I was living in a small community where everyone knew each other.
As I as leaving and looking at my nails I thought they looked wonderful. The shape of the nails were great, the color was pretty and I felt my skin around my nails even had a glow about them.
Well, my nails have never lasted so long! They went a full 3 weeks with no chipping and I don't know what they did so different, but even the growth did not look horrible!
I highly recommend this place to try and will absolutely be back!
