  • Awesome happy hour! My wife and I visited District on a Saturday afternoon. They have super long happy hour times (Mon-Sat 3-7) and really great deals. Craft beer is only $3 a glass, cocktails and wine are $5, and several of their appetizers are half off. I had the Camelback IPA to commemorate our hike of Camelback Mountain earlier that day, and my wife ordered a glass of sangria. To eat, we shared an order of Downtown Dirty Fries and Buffalo Drums (both of which were half off during happy hour). The Dirty Fries were covered in every satisfying ingredient you could ever want to go with fries: melted cheese, bacon, and jalapenos. I also liked the addition of the green onion (to offset the heaviness of the previously mentioned ingredients with some freshness) and the pickled chilis (to add some acidity to the dish). The Buffalo drums were fantastic too. The sauce was a little bit spicy and the chicken was juicy. Both dishes and our drinks totaled less than $20. I'm really surprised that this happy hour is not more popular. If I lived in Phoenix, I would go to District all the time. If you are by the ASU campus downtown, you should definitely stop by District in the afternoon.
