| - I'm new to the Vegas scene, I've only ever been once when I didn't have a lot of money and stayed off the strip, so I was definitely impressed the Vdara! It was a little difficult to find at first as my navigation directed us to the Bellagio, and then once you pull up the hotel entrance, there are loops and turns everywhere. So it was a tad overwhelming, especially since we were towing a trailer through everything. The valet were very accommodating and helped us get our load settled in the Vdara oversized lot, which not all hotels have so that was awesome! The hotel lobby is beautiful, and the decor is hip and luxurious. We were on the 30th floor and had an amazing view of the Bellagio fountains and the bustling city, and our king bed was so comfortable! We had just traveled 7+ hours with a 1 year old and it was a long day, so we decided to stay in and order room service and a movie. The room service was so expensive, even for Vegas, and they charge $4.95 per person to deliver it plus tax and tip. But the food was amazing-best creme brûlée we've ever had-and the portions were big. Pay per view movies are $11.99 which is expensive but actually cheaper than one of the last hotels we stayed at in Disneyland, so we splurged and ordered one. We slept great and it was so quiet, only once did I hear people outside the door. The blackout shades didn't quite blackout the morning light, but I couldn't wait to open them again and see that view! We had a wonderful stay here and will definitely return for weekend getaways in the future. I think they take pets too, if that's your thing.
