  • i mainly came here for the taiyaki hype even though there are very mixed reviews about it. i ordered the green tea taiyaki with the green tea/vanilla swirl custard. no nutella filling. a lot of reviewers are correct; the taiyaki was very dense and bland. i don't like how the custard didn't go all the way through. the custard was sliding all over the top by the time i was almost done with it. the outside was a little crunchy which i liked, but overall, it was just like a very thick pancake. my mouth was drying up & there was barely any taste to it. fortunately, the custard was delicious. the matcha flavor was perfect; not too light & not too overpowering. but for the size & the price, i really don't think it's worth it. i will not be returning.
