  • There's a reason an ice cream store has 5 stars on yelp. This is the best ice cream/gelato in all of Arizona! I'm a bit particular about my gelato because I don't like it too sweet and it seems everywhere else dumps the sugar, but here it's perfect and absolutely creamy! PLUS, Doc uses organic or non-gmo ingredients and locally sources whenever possible! Since I have to drive a bit to get there I bought a quart with half strawberry, half dark chocolate on Friday and let's just say between my husband and me we're going to need to go back (it's Saturday today). The shop is located in what looks to be an office building so it can be a little hard to find, but it's definitely worth it! and it's like a block away from IKEA. The best part is Doc and his crew don't try to hide anything. All their ingredients and tables are out in the seating area so you can see them blending their gelatos and see what they're using. I don't think I can stop talking about this place! We love everything about them! Their hours are a little limited unlike other ice cream places, but you won't regret having this dessert before dinner :)
