  • I got into the hotel and it seemed nice and friendly. There was champagne ready for me to have at the desk, the atmosphere seemed nice...Then I went to my room. The lamp next to the nightstand barely turned on. The two USB ports on the desk didn't work (one was full out broken and the other must not have power to it). My door didn't even close all the way when I left the room. Typically doors close right behind you but it wasn't even until AFTER a day of my four-night stay that I realized the door didn't close after me and I had to pull it shut myself. Anyone could have gone into my room when I was gone. I told the hotel about this and they just fixed the lamp. Didn't even fix the door which is a major security issue. I tried to order room service last night and I couldn't read the late-night menu because it was glued to another page. The person had to tell me what was available. Then to top it off, I skipped housekeeping service one day because I didn't need it. When I got the service the next day, things were great (I thought). Turns out they didn't leave new shampoo and conditioner for me. That kind of made me mad because I even left a tip. I stayed with a large group for a conference and everyone I knew had problems including no bath mat and losing laundry.
