| - I wanted to let others know what my experience with Cal-Pools was so here goes. I got four quotes from four different companies to re do our old pool, but Cal-Pools was the winner mainly because of Dennis Vandermate there sales person and first contact with the company. He was the only one that explained and listened to what we wanted. We had issues with our steps and wanted to go from three to five steps which was accomplished and only Dennis had the perfect solution. He was the only one who spent the most time going over every thing I would need to upgrade and become more efficient when operating my pool.
Next I met my construction manger, Sean Beavers. What can I say, Sean would stop by almost daily to check and see if there was anything I needed, questions answered, or to check on the work. Great guy, great attitude right to the finish. I then was re-introduced to my scheduler, Donna Dillinder. Donna and I go way back and I couldn't believe she turned out to be my scheduler, always there whenever I called or sent an email, knows her stuff.
We did have one hiccup, an insert for a new handrail, could have soured the whole job but a gentlemen by the name of Stephen Dreher stepped in and did the right thing by me and resolved the issue. Nice to have someone on staff who can solve issues on the spot and that's what Stephen did, well appreciated.
Now the trades, we had a great chipping crew, followed by a plumber by the name of Jesus, what a hard worker and not afraid to work until dark. We even sent out for pizza and feed him the night he stayed so late to finish, did a great job under no easy circumstances. Next our fountain needed repaired and we had Walter the tile man fix a real ugly fountain. What a job he did, a real craftsmen, excellent work by Walter.
There where other people as well, electricians, additional tile workers and the acid wash crew, all professional and did a great job.
I almost forgot about the start up guys, Todd & Gabe. Both where here and and each one also did a great job on explaining and starting up the pool for the first time. Very knowledgeable individuals and professional in every way.
The project took a little longer than expected but I was in no hurry to finish and wanted a quality job in the end and that's what I got with Cal-Pools.
I would highly recommend them for any pool project you maybe considering. I had a great team of Cal-Pools people that worked with me and so happy my project turned out so well. I've posted a picture of the finished project, you should have seen it before.
