  • Based on the address (and the name on my receipt), I believe this place is associated with Love Your Dress, which is where I sent my wedding gown to be cleaned after the BIG DAY. Arranging the cleaning took no effort at all. I filled in a form online through their website, included a couple pictures of the damage to my gown (my wedding day was misty so my beautiful satin and lace gown was quite soiled with mud and grime along the bottom layers), and waited for a quote. The quote came the next day (even on a weekend!), and the price included pick-up and delivery of my dress (with their driver servicing my area of the city two days a week). Let's be honest - it wasn't cheap ($325 before taxes, which included pick-up and delivery). But you get what you pay for when it comes to this kind of thing. My wedding gown is expensive, has intricate detailing, and holds quite a bit of importance to me. It was important that I not kid around when it came to cleaning, or wait too long (and the stains set too badly to remove). A driver showed up at my home on Thursday, November 19 to pick up my dress. I received a call on Monday, November 23 that my dress was ready and the driver was in the area to drop it off, if I was home. When I expressed surprise at the quick turnaround, the driver did admit that they launder the wedding dresses about once a month, and I was just lucky to have arranged for my dress cleaning right before that scheduled date. Upon drop-off, I was able to pay by credit card at the door (like you do with take-out), and my dress is safely back in my possession, having been gone less than a week. I didn't even have time to make room for it in my closet! The mud is completely gone. The black smudges on the satin are gone. My gown looks just as good as it did the first time I put it on. I didn't opt for a preservation option (they will package it in a windowed box for an additional fee), but it did arrive in a clear garment bag with a cardboard bust insert in it, so it holds its shape. As well, as weird as this sounds, I took a huge sniff. No bad odours or off-putting smells. It just looks and smells fresh. All in all, I'm sorry that other Yelpers have had a negative time, since my dress arrived back looking exactly as I hoped it would look, in a timely manner.
