I took my car to the "Quick Lane" for an oil change yesterday and was told that there were six cars ahead of me and that I was looking at a two hour wait. I asked if I could run some errands and get a coffee for an hour and come back. I was told that I would lose my place in line and that their policy is that the car must stay there. They refused to budge on this and told me I could always come another time (I had driven into town for an oil change). This policy is obviously in effect to serve Middleton Ford's needs and not the needs of the customer. It is ridiculous. All they they seem to be is a cabin air filter peddling operation anyway.
