  • This park along with sunset are my two favorites in Las Vegas . While Sunset has the sports fields and lake , wetlands has the wildlife. There are tons of large water birds as well as roadrunners and partridge. I've noticed several bird watchers here on my hundred or so bike rides through the park. Bikes are only allowed on a few of the trails however you can ride out of the park to arroyo grand trail or continue east past the water treatment plant to black mountain and ride out there. Check out the pictures of this gopher snake I came across last summer. A seven footer what a beauty !
