| - First off, let me start by saying that I have NO problem writing bad reviews on Yelp. Sorry, sometimes they are deserved. This website allows your personal opinion on places, and that's exactly what I give. The good, the bad and the ugly. Now, having gone to Katie, I do not understand for the life of me, how this woman has any negative reviews.
To start, she is stunning! Drop dead gorgeous, and like twice the age she looks (I only know this because she told me her age and I called bs lol) I need to know this woman's secrets! If it starts with great lashes, I am all in!
I see on previous negative reviews, that she is hard to get ahold of, and book with. Call it luck then, but within a half hour of reaching out to her, I was scheduled for just a few days later. She was super quick to respond (via text), and get me booked for the upcoming weekend (this past weekend).
The parking lot sucks, but that of course is not her fault. Her end suite is in a prime location right at 16th st and Bethany by the Vig. Its super cutely decorated, and spotless clean. I think she said this was a new location for her. You can tell, because everything is flawless inside. Love the colors, and just the over all vibe of this place.
I had never gotten my lashes done before, I barely even wear mascara, so this was a little out there for me, but after a girlfriend insisted I try it, I figured why not, since its not permanent. I chose to go to her based on location, and the groupon she had going. If I hated them, I certainly didn't want to pay full price!!
I really appreciate that while doing all of the work, which took about 90 minutes start to finish, that not only did I not feel like she was rushing, she also answered all of my questions about the industry. She really knows her stuff, not just with lashes, but with other services too such as micro blading, micro needling, facials, botox, the list goes on. You can tell that she knows her stuff. Which further comforted me while she was placing glue right next to my eyeball!
I have learned over the past few years, in treating myself to things such as facials, nails, massages, blowouts etc, that the service is only half of what you get. I really appreciate the relaxing girl talk, as a female who mostly has male friends. Its nice to just blab, and escape from mommy duties for a bit. The conversation flowed, I really had a great time.
Now, writing this 2 days after service, I am definitely still babying these lashes. I am afraid to touch them! I don't see myself keeping up with these full time, but NOT because of anything she did. This service is costly, and I don't think its something I would pick up as part of my daily routine. I will be back in 2 weeks for a fill, and will discuss micro blading with her.
Yes, I highly recommend her. I do not think anyone will be disappointed.
