| - I've used DWP to manage a place in AZ since 2006 and they've done a terrific job keeping me informed and what my options were when the place became vacant. Since I've started with them, the property has only been vacant for about seven to eight months (over a period of twelve years).
A few other great/convenient things that they provide:
- An owners portal for me to login and see statements
- Itemized tax documentation at the end of each year
- Documentation of move-in and move-out conditions (with great photos)
- Responsive to tenants' concerns (i.e., plumbing) in that I am almost immediately notified of the situation which results in a quick fix (so that the tenant is not inconvenienced).
The one thing that's very, very bad are the landscapers they hire. They over-charge by A LOT and spend little time on the property (leaving the trees poorly trimmed) which, for me, resulted in at least one HOA Violation per year. Additionally, the landscapers do not send photos after they complete their work, therefore not "proving" that they did any work.
In general DWP is honest, helpful, professional and friendly when I contact them (via email or phone) with any concern. So, other than the atrocious landscapers they hire, this is definitely a good company to work with.
