| - This is my first visit, came here for Happy Hour. It's from 4-6pm and then 10pm-close. The ambiance was excellent, love the bar area ... although narrow, the furniture didnt over take the space. I can only imagine how crazy and noisy it gets when the crowd hits.
The drinks:
Ordered the mini Petra: it was made of Bacardi 151, Champagne, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, cranberry flavoring -- the drink was blended. I like ot think that it was a "grown-up margarita." The drink was STRONG!
Athena: It was like a stawberry mojito. The refreshing part of it was adding basil leaves - that made the drink. The plus side: 100 calories!
Food:
Zucchini chips could have been cooked better, great batter but it came out really soggy. I dont know if cooking it in hotter oil or letting them cool off on a drying rack may help. Wish it was light like tempura.
Beef Souvlaki (sp?) the meat was tender, although fully cooked - maybe order it medium. The pita bread was good BUT it was too thick, very starchy
I dont know the name of the actual cheese but it was really rich. It was served with pita bread as well.
Petra Fries: Very, very good! It was cut with the skin on, light on salt, parsley and cheese. I'll order this again, for sure!
I did like this place. I'll go back again to try other appetizers and order more of the Athena !!
