  • Very impressed! Went once a few years ago and again today (Monday). Very clean grounds, they take excellent care of their property. The animals are very clearly well fed, cared for, and have appropriate enrichment. Their collection is very large and always expanding. Pathway was easy to follow to see everything - didn't really need the map. I love that it is unpaved; I think it gives it a much more natural feel, and less like you are walking in a mall - kind of shows that they are prioritizing animal care over glitz and unnecessary expenditure. Bathrooms were plentiful and easy to find if you look around, along with water fountains. We did not ride any rides or eat while we were there so I cannot comment on those. As a veterinarian, I am very impressed with the quality of their enclosures and care for their collection. Highly recommended and will absolutely return again. Can very easily spend an entire day here. Thought the entrance fee was steep at first, but then quickly realized how huge the place was and how well worth the cost was. They are very clearly a worthwhile facility and worth every penny. After visiting, I feel the fee was very fair.
