This is a very delightful cafe and has served as a huge contribution to our community for years!
I love the preserved tin ceiling that is above our heads while we dine. I also like the history behind the building itself and that this beautiful building is being preserved while used for a cafe. One of my other favorite architectural features of it is the steps after you walk through the doors. They are just lovely!
The food that they serve is very delicious and also very health conscious for the most part. With the exception of some special treats like ice cream sundaes that look out of this world! One of their signature classics has always been the salad bar that they sell by the ounce. It is incredibly fresh. They have a garden on the property and include items grown in it on their salad bar and menu! You can not get much fresher or closer to were your food is growing than a few feet from the restaurant!
My only regret is I didn't get to try any of the lovely fresh strawberries they were growing!
