This place is located in terminal 1 US Departures near Gate 67 across from the Tim Hortons. Two things lured me in there - I didn't want to pay $21 for burger and fries at the Hearth by Lynn Crawford (I like her but it's only a layover so I don't want to spend that much) and I was intrigued as embarrassingly enough I've seen the related reality show for this which also plays on loop in the restaurant. Anyways the 1/3 lb (5 ounce) Burgers are topped with Paul's signature Wahl sauce, dill pickles, government cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion for $9.95 and side of tater tots $4.50.
The burger patty didn't haven't much flavour and was a bit dry. Overall it was ok with the toppings. The signature sauce complimented it but wasn't memorable or a stand out. Was wondering what government cheese was - it's really American processed cheese. The bun was soft and veggies were fresh. The tater tots were kinda pricey and you don't get that much. It was pretty bland unless you dip it in ketchup. Taco time mexi fries are better. :p
For the airport it was ok for a sit down meal under $20 per person after tax and tips. But I wouldn't go running back.
