| - I am hesitant to write a poor review for a restaurant as I have been part of the waitstaff in many establishments and know how easily a good night can turn into a bad one, however in this case there is no excuse. Saturday 9/12/15 we had a reservation at Harvest with friends prior to the ironman race. We had never been there, coming from out of town but it was recommended to us as a good place to relax and enjoy "farm to table" dining. 6 of us are seated, then we are promptly ignored for the better part of 10 minutes before we are asked if we would like drinks. We order bottle of wine and 15 minutes later we are told they are out of it (very common bottle, found everywhere). Order our food and 30 minutes later it arrives some lukewarm, some hot, one entree does not arrive at all. We are told it is coming. 5 finish our meals and one remains without. We are told by the manager that "you are going to have to wait because we don't want to serve raw chicken!" We wait, our server is MIA...we tell them we must go and take the meal to go so they eventually give our one very hungry guest her entree in a bag and we leave. Back at the hotel the bag is opened and we find one piece of chicken not fit for consumption. I phoned the restaurant and they say all the right things, take down my info and tell me the owner will reimburse me, get back to me etc...its been over a week and I am still waiting. Don't go here if you have other options, it's obvious they are not concerned about their patrons experience, only that the check gets paid.
