  • It's been many years since I lasted visited Mert's and although I enjoyed my meal, it seems like something was missing. I ordered whiting, collard greens, yams and it came with a side of cornbread. The yams were runny and the fish tasted just ok. The collards and cornbread were fantastic! I also sampled my dates' mac n' cheese and it tasted just like someone's grandmother made it.
