First, they couldn't find our reservation (although made weeks in advance through their website) and told us they had no record of us booking a room. I had even called a few hours earlier to let them know that we would be arriving later than expected, and when I gave the receptionist my last name she said she would make sure to hold the room and ensure we had a "mountain view." Second, after about 10 minutes they finally figured out they had given our room to another guest (with a different last name) and no longer had a room with two queens (as we requested). Again, another wait while they searched the computer looking for the configuration of beds that we needed. Third, they found us a room, but it was on the bottom floor next to the parking lot. Always a bad sign when they give you complimentary "earplugs" next to your bed. The walls were made of paper since one could hear almost every conversation both inside or outside the hotel from this room (including from the floor above). Finally, they seemed to have allowed a guest to lock their dog in the room and it was continuously barking from the early hours. I complained, but the desk didn't seem to care. They also appeared to be woefully understaffed or incompetently staffed---I couldn't figure it out. Despite its convenient location, I wouldn't stay here again. When I got the bill, I wasn't happy to discover that a requested higher level room was the same price as a lower floor room next to the stairwell and outside the parking lot.
