Nice charming little pub. Spacious layout yet cozy furnishing with a few good booths to sprawl out in. Bruschetta with mozzarella cheese is not bad. I was impressed with the great flavour of the cream of chicken soup, the soup of the day special. It wasn't fresh, which is to be expected, but it was a pretty decent soup, well seasoned, creamy and quite a large portion.
I'm glad that they also had fish options available on the menu like sole and the fish entrée I ordered, the Apple Wood Smoked Salmon Fillet ($16) served with a seasoned shrimp skewer, basmati rice and sautéed veggies. I passed on the rice and got extra veggies instead. Both the shrimp and the fish were nicely cooked with a light sweet sauce - I definitely recommend!
Service was courteous but a little neglectful at times (1 star off) plus the ambiance was a little dull (another star off) but then again it's Tuesday in Richmond Hill...I would check it out again for sure though. A pool game and karaoke is definitely in the works for the future.
