rev:text	This has to be the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. I never write reviews. But on this occasion I feel I must. I rented a one bedroom suite for my 84-year-old mother and myself. The room was old with stained carpets the heater never worked the entire time we were there without the help of there maintenance men. I had a repair man in my room seven times on a three day stay. The manager and the general manager seemed not to care. The pullout couch was a joke. I literally had to sleep on the couch one night I slept on the floor the second night. That third night they gave me an adjoining room so I can at least sleep on a bed. We had no hot water the morning we're preparing to go to the wedding we had come to Canada for. There attitude was as if they were doing me a favor by giving me a room for the third night so I wouldn't have to sleep on the floor again. Because in my mothers room whenever you put the heat on, the air conditioning came on. When I checked on my mother in the middle of the night the room was an ice box. She is now on antibiotics because she got ill from being in the room. Do yourself a favor stay at the Hilton hotel across the way, stay away from the Sheraton. I've never had such bad customer service in all my life. I was really appalled because it seemed to me that nobody had any empathy or sympathy for my situation. Traveling with an 84-year-old mother with dementia is no easy task in itself, management did tell me though, that the SUITE we stayed in was scheduled to be renovated. I was told that four times in all, Which only made me more upset. I wish they had mentioned that before we checked in.
