  • We thought we were just going to Red Rock but then found out everyone wanted to go here. We were a bit underprepared for the difficulty of this hike with the hardest part probably leaving on the uphill journey. Also we had our 85lb dog who gave up on the way back and had to be carried through the sand uphill (thanks to my bf lol) ... I didn't want to goto the hot springs bc the last leg getting there looked super dangerous and I'm not about that life. So yes I give it 4 stars. The hike to the river was pretty boring but the view once there was really gorgeous. Probably should have some hiking boots for this trip. I can't imagine doing it with the weather being any warmer than it was yesterday in early March. Yikes!
