| - As we were contemplating on what and where to eat for dinner on Friday, my BIL suggested this place. It's located in Mandalay Place (the mall between Mandalay Bay and Luxor). We arrived around 6:00ish and had to wait about 25 minutes (party of 8 here), which wasn't too bad since we spent most of that time checking out the candies in Lick (a colorful candy store nearby).
The concept of building your own burger is fun, but can get pricey. I got the naturesource patty on a sesame bun ($10.50) + pepper jack cheese ($0.95) + grilled onions ($0.95) + peppers ($0.95) + chipotle aioli ($0.45) = $13.80 (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and dill pickle already included). Not too bad price wise, but that's for a burger only. One of my kids (who eats like a horse) wanted a burger that included grilled shrimp ($6.00) + a side of mozzarella sticks ($5.95) that would've cost $25 to which I said HELLL NOOO (she only took out the shrimp so it still was about $20).
My burger was pretty good. The patty was nicely pink (medium well) and juicy with a kick from the pepper jack cheese and chipotle aioli. It was also pretty filling too, so I didn't need a side after all (because I stole some mozzarella sticks, skinny fries, fat fries, zucchini fries, and pepper jack cheese shots from others...needless to say, I couldn't finish my burger).
Maybe next time I'll try their $60 burger. HAHAHAHAHA.
