  • For a local move (literally 10 houses down the street) the military chose this company for us. We met with a person who came by to take inventory and at the time we specifically stated that we did not need packaging because we only wanted them to move our bulky furniture items. For such a short move, why would I want the hassle of boxes and trash? The rep told my husband and I that was fine yet he still scheduled a packing day and told my husband not to worry because our move would be a one day job. We called yesterday to make sure we were being moved in one day and that the packing day was not needed. Instead we were told that it is their policy to schedule a packing day wether you want it or not because of previous customers. I don't give a rats you know what about previous customers, I did not ask for packing services. We were also told that they had no trucks to move us on the day they scheduled for packing which would mean we would have to extend everything (utilities, property transfer, etc.) another day. It would appear that this company like many others just tried to make more money off the government by adding extra crap we did not need. The guy even lied in his notes that we did not show him the whole house and that we would need 63 boxes for packing! The "room" he did not see was the garage because there was nothing bulky in there and we told him we were moving the items ourselves. This is a very shady company and I have traveled all over the country and overseas and have never experienced this. I canceled their service and decided to pay out of pocket for my move.
