  • We had a great experience here! It was my first time visiting Montreal, and didn't know what to expect. The hotel itself is very beautiful although the lobby was undergoing some renovations. The woman who worked at the check in desk was wonderful and very friendly. She made us feel very comfortable and gave us great suggestions for places to eat, drink, and visit in the area, along with a map to help us wander around. Our US phones didn't work, so she happily called cabs for us. After we checked out, she kept our luggage in a closet while we were out until we were ready to leave. Our room was very nice, on par with many other Marriott hotels we have stayed at elsewhere but for an excellent price (although I think we visited in the off-season in mid Match). Our room opened to a little terrace, but we didn't get to enjoy it due to the snow. I bet it is very nice to sit out and enjoy it during the warmer months! The continental breakfast was pretty good. There were a ton of people eating at the same time, so I didn't get the food I wanted, but right after I sat down the staff came to refill everything. The location can't be beat. There is a ton to do in the area, and this hotel is right in the heart of everything.
