  • Who's got one of the best veggie burgers around? Kickstand. I was surprised to find such a delicious veggie burger (or sliders, for that matter) at this little burger bar. But it's there and it's wonderful. Service is great...I appreciate being checked on by our server as well as management several times during our meal. These guys love their regulars. The bathrooms are a little hard to locate when you first come in...they're in the area between The Loco Lime and Kickstand. Walk past the mini carnival and you're there. As for the menu, I always have a hard time deciding between the veggie flatbread, with its avocado, pico de gallo and cheese, and the veggie sliders, with guacamole, pepper jack cheese and chipotle ranch. Recently I opted for the über healthy pimiento cheese fries. As an entree. And they were amazing. Local beers as well as national brands on draught. Plenty to choose from. And the faithful PBR for those poor hipsters who like the taste of beer but haven't the cash to buy the fancy stuff. We had our rehearsal dinner at and used their private dining room. It was a delight and we really enjoyed our time there, as did our guests. We're laid back people, so Kickstand was perfect for us. It's one of our favorite places to go for a casual dinner, or just to kill time at the bar with a few beers. I'd hate to imagine a Charlotte without Kickstand. That's for sure.
