We love our apartment and our neighbors but the property management here is horrible. Her name is Jodi and if you ask anyone who lives here they will all say the same thing. If you don't want to get harassing phone calls and emails on a weekly basis from her then I wouldn't suggest living here.
1) there is not enough parking in the complex for the amount of resident they have. If you get home anytime after 6pm you will not find a parking spot and will be forced to park on the street or in the visitor area outside of the gate. My husbands CAR HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO MULTIPLE TIMES as well as other residents and they have made no effort to do anything about it. Then they have the nerve to put a notice on your car stating that you are "disrupting their business" and will tow your car. When you are paying over $1,200 to live in a gated community it would be nice to not have to park out on a busy street.
2) When I moved in their were BUGS crawling around in my microwave and behind my stove. When I went to let Jodi know about it she laughed. Does that say "luxury" apartment to you?
3) We are constantly harassed by security to the point where it makes me uncomfortable. One of the security guards harassed my neighbor walking to her apartment asking very personal question and whether or not she lived at home alone. It must just be a coincidence that he no longer works here. She has even claimed to have unauthorized voice recordings of me and my husband sitting out on our balcony talking. Seriously? How creepy!
4) We tried to enjoy a Sunday afternoon at the pool and Jodi was working out in the gym watching us the entire time. She kept having someone come out and check our belongings to ensure we didn't have glass. It's pretty pathetic that she spends her days off harassing residents.
5) She orders her maintenance team to conduct regular apartment walk throughs. She claims its to check on the foundation of the apartment and to ensure people don't have anything except patio furniture on their balcony. (Please keep in mind they don't have storage outside.) the maintenance men have even claimed that they are just checking housekeeping in the apartment. Talk about invasion of privacy.
6) We are friends with many of our neighbors but unfortunately they don't stay very long. A couple moved in across from us and had to break their lease not even a month later because she was so horrible to them. This is a common Occurrence here.
I have been renting for the last 10 years and have never dealt with an apartment manager who is as unpleasant as she is. I also have no respect for people who decide to post negative responses to their residents when they post a review instead of owning up to it and fixing it. There is a common trend here and instead of blaming others maybe you should take a good look in the mirror and reevaluate.
