This was my first time at the Phoenix Open.
The course is beautiful and they really do put an emphasis on the zero waste initiative by having recycle bins everywhere, and compost bins as well.
The majority of the people attending are there to drink and party.
Our office is directly across the street, and this area is absolute chaos.
Trash is everywhere, the traffic is a nightmare and no matter how many signs and "guards" are posted people still park in undesignated areas.
The Friday we attended the open was madness. Just tons of people; we saw very little golf. It's hard to see past the sea of people.
Food is not very appealing. There are a few vendors and that's about it. Very disappointed in the food selection. There is a ton of liquor so if that's your main objective it's a win!
Not sure this is my scene but will probably go again next year with the office as a group.
