  • UPDATE: Go to PAI instead! THe original owners and chef of Khao San Road opened up their latest Thai restaurant called PAI on Duncan and it is awesome! Their green curry in coconut bowl was delicious. As for Khao San Road, my expectations were very high due to the number of reviews and the four star rating...perhaps that was my problem. The food was too sweet and the dishes I had were meh. Nothing to write home about. I have had better pad thai and definitely better curry elsewhere. Overrated... the new owner and chef of this place has brought the quality of the place down several stars.
